Cold Nights Of Winter
A time of frost and chill.
The winds howl and the fire roars,
As I sit by the window still
The moonlight dances on the snow,
A sight both pure and bright.
But as the night grows longer,
I cannot help but feel the fright.
For winter can be harsh and cruel,
A season of endless despair.
But as I curl up under blankets,
I find comfort in their warm care.
So let the cold nights come,
For I am not afraid.
For as long as I have love and warmth,
I know I will be okay.
